New Soaps Are Curing!

Yay! I'm been making soap again!

I've made a point of making a batch of soap right after I put the babe down for a nap. To make it much easier for me, I've been making one large batch of a certain scent and then splitting it into two molds. One will be a smooth creamy batch without 'stuff', the other I've been adding something to.

Curing right now are:

Lavender

Lavender w/buds

Coconut Curry Custard

Coconut Curry Custard w/ poppy seeds

Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey
Oatmeal, Milk, & Honey w/ oats

I've always been a 'stuffless' soap lover, but there was a strong demand for more exfoliants in my soaps, so this really has been working out well.
What are some of your favorite exfoliants?

What a great idea! My favorite exfoliants are oatmeal, coffee grinds, and pulverized corn cob. At least those are the ones I use the most in soap. I usually prefer my soap to be smooth, but there certainly are those who love the scratchies! :)

luscious! I love these!!!

I agree with Amy I prefer my soap smooth, but I have a lot of requests for oatmeal.
Cornmeal is really scrubby too and great for a gardeners soap....lol....learned that the hard way ;)
