I'm sneaking a minute on the computer while Daddy is spending some time with his boy, so a quick little update on this last whirlwind of a week!
Monday morning we headed in for the 7:30am scheduled c-section\. Baby Sam was out at 8:01am screaming before he was even totally out I'm told. He's a VERY healthy boy and took to nursing like a champ (as hubby says "It's a boy. They're boobs. Its natural" Lol!).
BOTH the girls went to Grammy and Grandpa's house Wednesday so when Sam and I came home Thursday, we could have some time to adjust (and I could heal a little more). It was the first time they've EVER been away from mom and dad, so I was pretty happy when they wanted to come home a day early. Poor Ali had a complete melt down, so it was obvious it was time for them to come home (Rik and I were both missing them too)
I've posted some AMAZING photos here that my friend Jessica of Nash Photography (blog and website) has done for us. She is my own personal photographer...she comes out to your house and will spend however much time needed with grumpy kiddos or fussy babies until you're satisfied. She really is amazing!
But anyway, here are some shots she did of Sam last night for us:

OMG Liz those pics are SOOOOO CUTE!!!! I wish i had her around to take pics of Hank when he was born!!! Can't wait to come down for a visit and see my new nephew!!

Boy, I missed all the excitement while I was on vacation...CONGRATULATIONS!!! Sam is gorgeous and precious!!

you sure are blessed with some beautiful children. we went to the hospital yesterday to visit a friend's new girl. darrell asked if we could keep her and they could just have another for themselves. they laughed in a wierd sort of scared way.
